New Leaders, New Structure, and Growth Strategy for current challenges
ACG – one of the Hungarian market's leading integrated communication agencies – has undergone comprehensive organizational and operational renewal over the past six months to respond more effectively to current and future business challenges, rapidly changing client expectations, regional market needs, and the opportunities of an AI-driven new era.
The newly announced structural change aims to strengthen ACG's prominent market position and support effective international expansion, in addition to increasing its value creation capability in client relationships. To this end, the agency is simultaneously transforming its operations, investing in AI technology and in experts who are capable not only of applying but also shaping industry changes, all guided by a well-thought-out strategy.
"ACG has always been a proactive player in the market – and will remain so. Our response to the challenges of the current era – just as in 2008 and then in 2020 – is once again a growth-oriented, future-focused development strategy. Its main driver is not 'survival,' but rather progress, innovation, and the necessary investment for it. The goal, alongside successful and sustainable operation, is value creation, professional excellence and leadership, a good team, and international expansion," said Nikolett Blaskó, founding director of ACG. "We are carrying forward the momentum of recent years' growth, complemented by high-level technological preparedness, an AI-ready approach, and new leaders. We are already working in nearly 20 countries, and in the mid-term, we are thinking about further international expansion and global challenges," the managing director continued.
Leadership Changes: Creative and Operational Strengthening
A significant milestone in the organizational renewal was the arrival of acclaimed creative expert Eni Várkonyi last year, who initially joined ACG as Head of Art, then quickly rose to Creative Director alongside László Nagy. Together, they lead the agency's expanded creative team and oversee the creative direction of client projects.
Eni previously worked in creative leadership positions at Dentsu Creative, Café Communications, and BioTechUSA's creative teams, and has demonstrated her abilities in complex brand strategies, local, and regional campaigns in recent years.
"ACG has the creative quality and the vision that truly makes one believe in shared successes. We work with inspiring, skilled professionals and good clients on real opportunities – I think this is the combination from which only good can come," said Eni Várkonyi, ACG's new Creative Director.
In addition to Eni Várkonyi, ACG's creative team was further strengthened this year with the arrival of Péter Zsembery, former creative director at Café, who, along with Ervin Sallai and Gábor Ferenczy, will fill the Creative Group Head position at the agency.
The biggest change in ACG's operations came with the opening of a brand-new position, Chief Operating Officer (COO), into which Gábor Zoltán Varga joined on July 1st. The internationally recognized expert previously worked as Chief Business Officer at Publicis Groupe Hungary and brings over 15 years of experience in business strategy, client management, and company building, gained at Hungarian and international agencies.
His tasks will include optimizing agency operations, supporting further growth, and strategically managing the AI-driven transition – in close cooperation with Nikolett Blaskó (CEO), the leadership team, and all employees of ACG and PRo Communications Agency, which handles PR tasks.
"There is serious potential in ACG: in its people, its clients, and in its future. I have joined a team that is creative, ambitious, and ready not just to react to the market – but to shape it. I look forward to working together with great enthusiasm and curiosity," said Gábor Varga.
Audit, Strategy, Momentum
The agency's structural change was preceded by a comprehensive professional and operational audit, during which ACG also involved recognized AI technology experts and opened new technological positions to ensure the system is truly built on future client needs and industry shifts. The new structure is based on transparency, high-quality integrated operations, and advisory-focused client relationships – foundations upon which not only campaigns but also a future can be built.
The goal of this new momentum: to grow – and to enjoy what we do in the process.
