Random Cinema Adventure takes home PREXA Bronze

We are proud to announce that our innovative PR campaign, the “Random Cinema Adventure” has not only captivated audiences, but also earned professional recognition. The project has been honoured with a bronze medal at the PREXA Award (PR Excellence Award) in the campaigns in ‘Low Budget Campaigns’ category with a total budget under 1 million HUF. The PREXA is one of Hungary’s most prestigious professional awards, celebrating outstanding public relations activities. The idea also earned shortlists in both storytelling and issue management categories, representing the project’s complexity.

For the first time in Cinema City Hungary’s history, we invited the audience to be part of a real surprise. Attendees of the “Random Cinema Adventure” were pushed to discover the unknown, as they only got to know the film they signed up for after the first few shots. While subtle hints were given by influencers chosen to match the movie’s genre and overall vibe; the secret only got exposed after the doors of the screening room were closed. The program was topped with a 20-minute game: a cinema quiz, creating a memorable event.

The project has reached its primary goal: elevating the cinema experience and highlighting its powerful community aspects. Cinema City has once again created new value for its audience, following its famous motto: “cinema brings together all”.
