The state care system is supposed to be a promise of protection. A safety net for the vulnerable. But for thousands of children in Hungary, that safety is an illusion.
We launched 'The Scary Birthday' (campaign) to turn a hidden trauma into a national conversation. A film and a haunting remix of Hungary’s most iconic birthday song stood at the heart of the campaign.
